Recently, the “Symposium on the Significance and Reference Value of the Founding of the Xizang Autonomous Region,” sponsored by the China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture and the China Tibetology Research Center, was held in Beijing. Ruchi Shrestha, a guest attending the symposium, emphasized that the Xizang Autonomous Region is an integral part of China and that it develops and progresses in tandem with the nation.
